February 2017

This month has been very difficult. Daniel's father, Chuck, passed away from Parkinsons. We are all doing as well as expected and want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Chuck had four children: Matt, Samantha "Sam", David and Daniel. They were all able to come out and be together with us and that was really wonderful. Chucks passing was not unexpected, but there is no way to prepare for the passing of such a great guy.  Chuck was always so nice to me and told the best stories. When Daniel and I were dating we spent many hours hanging out with Chuck and walking the dogs down the driveway. His interests were varied and loved learning something new, I see a lot of that in Daniel to.

We will all miss you so much.

These pictures are in no particular order.

Eliza asked for a flower in her hair and actually wore it for a few minutes. Most of these pictures have her in the same bumblebee shirt. This her current favorite pajama shirt and mornings are the best time for me to get pictures.

Cousins! Eliza, Jack, Katherine, Wyatt and little Luke down in front. This was taken by Holly about 2 seconds before Eliza was completely covered in mud.

For February the weather was great. Eliza and K held hands and ran around the playground. So sweet! I think they were escaping lions (Jack & Wyatt). Lots of giggles to be sure.

Lunch break!

Sharing a ride on Eliza's snail. Lol

Ever just hung out. Lol

Just like Eliza, we had to put Ever on medicine for acid reflux. This particular night she stole the syringe. So her motor skills are right on track. She is not allowed to be in charge of her meds. Haha

Eliza is going through a "scared of the dark" phase. She literally has so many lights she has to cover her eyes to fall asleep.

Trying to look cool, but she couldn't see her game.

Ever is 12 weeks. She is in size 3 diapers and has been sleeping through the night for about 8 weeks. Most of the lack of sleep I have is from Eliza needing diaper changes. Sheesh!

So....Eliza wrote a story about a princess and she actually "wrote" within the page lines. She has no problem counting to 10 and knows the whole ABC's song, but some letters get jumbled in the middle. She loves singing about the "Little Monkeys on the Bed". The number of monkeys vary. Haha

Food and fun!

Group photo
Back row (L-R): Samantha O'Keefe, Matt Parlier, Eliza (trying to kick me in the head), Marcia Parlier, Holly Parlier holding Luke.
Front Row (L-R): Daniel Parlier, Ever (watching Eliza kick at me), Holly Parlier (me), Wyatt, Jack, David Parlier and Katherine.

Another day, another playground. I love this picture because Eliza looks like such a playground creeper. Haha

Some of the wonderful flowers we were sent. Everyone has been so wonderful during this time.

Grandma Marcia and many grandkids.

Showing some love on V-day.

Ever is playing around. Haha

A nice day for a walk around the neighborhood.

Eliza loves her hats and sunglasses.

Ever will chew on anything. Including shirts, if they are stretchy enough.

Sister time!

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to our family. We are planning a memorial for Chuck in Franklin on May 6th, 2017.
